Star Jones- Sloth Segment

Jeremy Schachter is an actor/comedian originally from Rochester, NY and currently resides in New York City. Jeremy has been featured on Comedy Central, NBC, Discovery, Spike TV, AMC, Animal Planet, Court TV, and Tru TV. In 2007 he made his feature film debut in the upcoming thriller Manslaughter by executive producer Freddie Prinze Jr.

In addition to acting and comedy, Jeremy is passionate about government and the community. He works for a nonprofit organization called the Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) where he helps people coming home from prison find employment. While the job leads to a wealth of standup material he never forgets the importance of the work. He majored in both political science and urban studies at the City University of New York's Hunter College and intends to begin law school in the fall of 2009.

Heath Ledger's Joker	07/22/08
The Dark Knight was amazing and Heath Ledger stole the show. I'm not easily drawn into hype but he was seriously ridiculous. I saw Broke Back Mountain on a plane or something and I thought he was good but I couldn't really get that into it. This movie really showed his skills in a movie I could appreciate them in. It's a shame we won't be able to see more of him. Truly.

Run for Central Park

On Saturday I ran my first organized race, the run for Central Park. I came in 1,826th place. I'm not sure exactly how many people were in it but I hope more than 1,826. Not even Focker got a 1,826th place ribbon. It was a 4 miler and my time was 34:16. That's an average of 8:34 per mile. I was hoping to do better but I'm still new. I've got a couple more races in the coming months, one of which, the Men's Health Urbanathlon, is ridiculously intense. What's New	07/18/08
I've been very bad about updating the site. I'm not really doing any shows anymore because I'm concentrating on work, school, and studying for the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT.) I've also been very active lately. I've been running a lot and training for upcoming races I'm a part of. This Saturday will be my first organized race ever. I'll be sure to let you know how I do.
